Arturo Ayala

Arturo started his martial arts career with the sport of boxing, learning from his own father the basics of the ring. After several fights using only his hands, Arturo started experimenting with the kicks. Kickboxing training led him to find the art of Muay Thai, and he fell in love with it immediately!

Experience

Arturo has been training, fighting and teaching Boxing and Thai Boxing for several years in and around Manassas, Virginia before coming to Trident Academy.  He began teaching here at Trident Academy in the Summer of 2013.  He has quickly gained a reputation for being one of our most passionate instructors at Trident Academy.

Trident Martial Arts Striking/Grappling/MMA Instructor and Dad

Immediately upon enrolling his two children as well as himself, he trained in all the arts we teach here, leading to an Instructorship in our Striking program, including Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai and our cross-training Kickboxing class, JTX (JKD+Thai Boxing).

Arturo is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Rigan Machado and Mr. Pat Tray.

He also teaches Mixed Martial Arts in our Combat Submission Wrestling classes.

Competition Fighter/Coach

He is one of the leaders of our Fight Team and a valued asset to all of our programs here at Trident; striking, grappling, weapons, including Pat Tray's USA Combatives.
